whatte the swyve: why we can't have nice things
i thought the roommating infidel had reformed, you know. the other day he made dinner for himself and Woman, but, not only did he clean up after himself, he cleaned all the dishes on the counter. sweet. +10 points. so i was standing by the window the next morning staring at misty lake, but then i noticed that right next to me on top of the bookshelf was my brand-new tube of super glue with its cap off. whatte the swyve? i left that thing on the coffee table after i repaired my glasses, i had just got it the other day. and here it was, already being ruined. it is incomprehensible.
today: i will write 5pp in order not to have to do it later. i have two papers due wednesday, so i think i shlal finish off the short 5pp one tonight. UNFORTUNATE NEWS: i just sat down nad looked at my pile of secondary sources and noticed that the long paper i want to write about Cassian has been written. D'OH. that means one of two things: i must find a twist and say that the other guy is wrong or i must expand later, perhaps using the same method, to extend the conclusions. Foucault apparently has a lot of interest in Cassian and the themes Cassian develops and develops most particularly in this section, but that's a subject for something else altogether. i should give Foucault some serious attention in the future... anyways, i'll consider the latter course, perhaps grab some penitentials and i hope Aquinas is not considered irrelevant to the course [he really should be, but i can argue].
