the only downside:

I still have a month and a half in this apartment, rentwise, and the new place I start with August rent and a deposit. D'oh! That means I'm essentially triple-paying rent for August with an extra half-month in September. Well, one does what one must. I couldn't say no to this apartment because the long-term savings [even the short-term savings] far outway those costs. That and there's a hole in the wall covered by a tarp that gets periodically replaced.

So, uh, anybody know anybody who needs a place to live in August? I'd let them have the non-skeazy one.
