Why "blog"?

Because I need to sound like I'm typing something up and I hope for some sort of social interaction here at work. I've already exhausted my other venues for such aid. Damn, I really need a new jorb. They and I both realize they're getting only 30% of what I can offer. The thing is, I want to give more, I just have no idea what possible value any of my skills are in this position. I think they're in the same boat. I don't think they even know what they really want from me in this role. So I'm writing in this web-log.
