i'd much rather be with the boys than be with girls like you

It seems to be spider season. Killed a big one on my monitor last night and one in the kitchen sink this morning. Even the mailbox was covered with webs. I mean, usually everything in front of the house, especially the path, has a healthy dose of webbing in the morning, but the mailbox itself is new. I don't mind a healthy population of spiders - they keep the other insects away - but it's getting ridiculous nowadays. Fortunately, winter should kill 'em all. I was hoping for some more summer days, but getting rid of spiders may be more important.
