i fought the war but the war won
i fought the war but the war won't stop for the love of God.
so this girl invaded my dreams last night and then dropped by my room tonight and was like, dude, let's go to a party on the 11th floor, and i was like, dude. but when i got there some orthodox in the lounge were having a theological dialogue with evangelicals, and i was like, sauce me up, y'all. one of the orthodox was totally russki and the other was a catholic convert, so they didn't know what they were doing [they were like faith and worksifying], so i was like, all over how we weren't denying what little truth the evangelics know, but rather agreeing and being more rational about it, so they were like, "that is sensible, we shall have to look into it more." and the people who were with me that tried to get into the party were DENIED and disappeared into the fiery pit. but i got in 'cause it turned out to be a friend of mine's birthday party that i didn't know about, so we rocked out birthday style. and i talked for a long time with a girl i had stalked in previous years. BLAST FROM THE PAST, YO. and today this baptist family i know was like, "we're orthodoxifying, yo." it's a crazy world. BUT THE WAR WON'T STOP. well, i totally lost track of the girl, but i partied hearty.
and i saw in the paper this guy's coming to brent house to talk about blogging and the intersection of faith and politics, so i'm like, "i'll totally be there for the free food, y'all, though there are some anglicans i'm trying to avoid."
at least i can still walk.

Mr. Thompson, you lead such an amusing life. Who are these Anglicans you are trying to avoid? Because you know, they will find you... BWAHAHAHA.
Geoff, your writing style- the "half frat-boy, half Augustine" thing- is really disconcerting.
I'm just saying.
yeah, looking back, maybe i should cut back on the sauce when writing.
I love it I love it I love it.
Don't change a thing. Your posts always make my day.
