st john of chicago!

His feast is on the 31st! He was the first priest martyred by the Bolsheviks! We had vigil tonight and the archbishop was there and in his red vestments he looks like Santa. And the cathedral, consecrated by St. Tikhon, designed by Louis Sullivan, had St. John as its first rector. Doot doot!

I also might be going to an OCMC dinner next week. I might get a haircut, too.

That party where I dressed as Ian was great, so much pie! Minced meat pie, too! It was heaven. I'm amazed a salt shaker can cook that well.
