if they're in my library...
I walked by Powell's after skipping class this afternoon and hit the jackpot. Billions of excellent free books, more than I could carry off, so I was presented with a problem. There were horrible books [Mary Baker Eddy, Book of Mormon, Fr. Coughlin, etc] that I would pick up for scientific research as well as supremely excellent books which I must have [Joyce, Fitzgerald, Plato, etc]. Unfortunately, I could not carry them all, so the dangerous books are still out there for the unsuspecting public. Perhaps a small fire was called for. I now own: a slender book by Mother Theresa and a thick book about Therese Neumann. Still no Confessions on hand. Also: Iran-Contra trading cards!
