I forgot one of my cardinal rules:

Don't stop drinking at a party or else I'll start flirting with women. The obvious corollary is that one leaves parties on Saturday at midnight and doesn't usually arrive at parties on Friday before midnight unless there's beer or the calendar says to. The life you save could be your own.
